Applynx, Inc. Web Development Company was founded by Scott Maggelet in 2001 to build and support high level, Java platform custom websites for local businesses. Clients include Den-Mat Corporation, Experts Exchange, The Tribune, Wild Coyote Winery, The Original Little Sprout, Bear Cave Cellars and Central Coast Soccer League, to name just a few. Scott holds a Bachelors Degree in English from the University of Connecticut and is a Java-certified programmer through Sun Microsystems. He has over ten years of professional web programming and general IT experience.

Winestein is a division of Applynx, specializing in the technological needs of the local wine industry. Winestein will continue the mission of Applynx with custom website design targeted at the wine industry, coupling that service with administrative service, customer service, marketing and database management of the direct-to-consumer wine club. Scott is the Director of Technology of Winestein. Sarah Taylor Maggelet is the Director of Sales & Marketing. Sarah holds a Bachelors Degree in Communication from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Sarah has worked in both Sales & Marketing and General Operations in the local wine industry. Winestein offices are located in San Luis Obispo, California. Winestein is proud associate member of the Wine Institute.
